For Kidz Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 10, 2026
For Kidz makes child-friendly learning apps and printable learning products. Our apps are designed for young children, with parents, guardians, and teachers as the adults who manage purchases, settings, and support.
Summary
For Kidz does not ask children to create accounts, type personal details, share photos, or send messages. We do not show third-party ads, use behavioral advertising, or sell personal information. The app may use trusted service providers to deliver learning content, support offline use, and process purchases made by adults through the App Store or Google Play.
Who this policy applies to
This policy applies to For Kidz apps, including Letters for Kidz, and to the For Kidz public website. Individual apps may have different features, but the same privacy principles apply across the For Kidz family.
Information children provide
The child-facing learning experience does not ask children to provide names, email addresses, phone numbers, photos, voice recordings, precise location, contacts, or account login details.
App content and Firebase
For Kidz apps may use Firebase services to load learning content such as letters, words, images, audio, and tracing data. The apps may cache content on the device so learning screens can load faster and work more reliably after content has been downloaded.
We use Firebase for app content delivery and storage. We do not use Firebase Authentication for child accounts in the child learning flow. At this time, For Kidz does not use Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics.
Information stored on the device
The app may store settings and local state on the device, such as selected language, premium unlock status, cached images, cached audio, and cache size information. This data is used to make the app work, restore access, and support offline-friendly learning. It is not used for advertising.
Purchases
Some For Kidz apps include free sample content and a parent-facing paywall for full content. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store or by Google through Google Play. For Kidz does not receive or store full payment card details.
The app may store a local premium status after a successful purchase or restore action so unlocked content stays available on the device. Purchase history, refunds, and payment account details are handled by the app store provider according to that provider's policies.
Support email
If an adult contacts us for support, we receive the information included in that email, such as the sender's email address, app name, device model, app version, and the question or request. We use support emails only to answer the request, troubleshoot issues, handle privacy requests, and keep a reasonable record of support history.
Website
The For Kidz website is a static public website. It does not offer child accounts, forms, comments, or user profiles. The hosting provider may process standard technical information needed to serve the site, such as IP address, browser information, requested page, and time of request.
Cookies and website storage
This website sets no cookies. It uses no analytics, no advertising or measurement pixels, no embedded third-party players or widgets, and no third-party fonts — the fonts and images are served from the same domain as the page. Nothing is written to your browser's local storage.
Because we do not store or read any information on your device beyond what is strictly needed to deliver the page you asked for, there is no cookie banner to click through. If that ever changes, this section changes with it and consent will be requested before any non-essential storage is used.
Advertising and tracking
For Kidz apps are not built around advertising. We do not show third-party ads, use behavioral advertising, sell personal information, or ask for app tracking permission for advertising purposes.
Third-party services
For Kidz may rely on service providers that help operate the apps and website, including Apple App Store, Google Play, Firebase, and Firebase Hosting. These providers may process technical or transaction information needed to provide their services. Their use of information is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Parental rights and privacy requests
Parents and guardians can contact us to ask privacy questions, request deletion of support emails, or ask what information we have related to a support request. Because For Kidz does not create child accounts, we may need enough information to identify the relevant support conversation or device-side issue.
Email privacy requests to forkidz@thinkheart.co.
Retention
We keep support emails and operational records only as long as reasonably needed for support, safety, legal, and business purposes. Cached app content and local settings remain on the device until removed by the app, cleared by the user, or deleted by the operating system.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when For Kidz apps, website features, service providers, or legal requirements change. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
